“Change” is a magic word. Every time I think of it, I gain
some sort of power from it. It is so amazing to see the worm change into a butterfly.
In my opinion, life is like this process. Some people confront the brutal facts
and finally succeed. Some people just get enmeshed in a web of their own
spinning.
There are few
sentences I like relating to change.
“Be the change you
wish to see in the world—Gandhi”
“Because you’re young, you’re torn between a world of hate
and a world of dreams. So much to lose, So much to gain. So much to fight for,
so much to change.”
I will use paintings or photoshop to interpret the meaning
of “change” that I find in the song, book and architecture
For the song, I choose “heal the world” sung by Michael
Jackson. The main idea of this song is using love to change the world.
For the architecture, I choose the Butterfly Bridge. This
architecture has its own metaphor and is beautiful. I will draw my feeling
about this bridge.
For the book, I choose “Good to Great” written by Jim Collins.
I like his Hedgehog Concept and the Stockdale Paradox.
